Dear Roxi.
I am writing as the brother of a Northern
California Folklorico Dancer. My sister,
Emelia, lives for Folklorico. She
would rather be at practice than at home, or
work, or in school. All she talks about is this
choreography or the latest show or that
vestuario. I really believe she is addicted
and I know she is not the only one with this
behavior. I can buy that dancing is fun,
but I can’t understand why anyone could get so
attached to it. My question is simple.
What in the heck is so attractive about Mexican
Dance that makes people want to live for it?
Signed. Bewildered.

Answer........................"
