history during an Event which spotlights period
clothes and plenty of Latin entertainment. Join your friends in celebrating the end of May, the
end of exams, pre-Summer fun, or whatever reason
you may have!
Attend in your best Mexican Period
costume or dress as a Mexican Hero to win the
Costume Contest with prizes at over $100 in

DJ Intense-City Entertainment will spin
the sounds of Latin beats Salsa, Merengue, Latin
House, Cumbias.
The Brazilian Cultural Center will also
be presenting Capoeira and Samba at 9:30 p.m.!

RAICES
Mexican dance Company invites art lovers and
dance enthusiasts to the Companies’ self
entitled production , Raices de mi Tierra
(Roots of Mexico) . Over 30 dancers will perform
in a colorful and exciting array of traditional
and contemporary Mexican works. Musical
accompaniment by a traditional Mariachi,
reception and after party to follow featuring
Latino favorites spun by DJ Manny Hernandez.
RAICES
is a local non-profit dance company that has
served the Sacramento community for seven years in a
mission to present and preserve Mexican cultural
dance. The
group, based out of CSUS Sacramento, performs at
venues large and small throughout the
year.
