RAICES 12th Anniversary Show! Planning is ongoing for
making 07’ the best Raices show ever!! Raices will showcase 5 of its best
regions and be joined by sister company, Rincones de mi Tierra, floreador
Esteban Escobedo, and Mariachi Zacatecas. Tickets to be on Sale in
November at the SCAC or available online @ benarts.org. SAVE THE DATE:

The Holidays.
Are right around the corner, and we will be taking time off
of dance practice to spend with our family and friends. Thanksgiving 11/22
NO PRACTICE & Monday 11/26 No practice. Dates in December to be announced.

Beginner/Intermediate Folklorico!!!
Raices continues rehearsal throughout November! Beginner folklorico rehearsal has been moved to Tuesdays 6:30-7:30PM. Intermediate classes will remain Monday's 6:30pm and
Wednesday's are extended 6-8pm.

Welcome to the Party.
All of you new members who will be debuting your
talents at the World Beat show on 10/20. We wish you many more performance
opportunities in the future. Thanks to the Beginning and Adult folklorico
instructors for their hard work in preparing our newest members for the
stage. Great job Osvaldo and Manuel.

New at the Center!!
Body Movement Class with instructor MaryAnn Martinez!
This class will combine Ballet, Afro-Cuban and Isolation drills to enhance
your performance ability on stage! Every Sunday 4-5pm starting Sept. 16th!

Salsa!!
We are proud to announce that Ciro & Maryann Martinez are now
resident Salsa Instructors at the SCAC. Beginning 6:30-7:30PM, Intermediate
7:30-8:30PM. Every Tuesday Evening. These 2 are recognized as some of the
best salsa teachers, performers and choreographers in California. More

Ballet for Kids!!
Every Monday @ 5:30PM. Movimiento Ballet Latino. Meets
Every Monday @ 6:30PM. Open to all Jazz, Modern and ballet dancers who
want a Latin twist for their dances!!
